REFRACTION OF LIGHT!
Critical angle When light passes from one medium (material) to another it changes speed. This is because the speed of a wave is determined by the medium through which it is passing. When light speeds up as it passes from one material to another, the angle of refraction is bigger than the angle of incidence.
For example, this happens when light passes from water to air or from glass to water.
Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one substance to another. Here, the light ray passes from air to glass and back to air. The bending is caused by the differences in density between the two substances.
Refraction is the bending of a wave when it enters a medium where its speed is different. The refraction of light when it passes from a fast medium to a slow medium bends the light ray toward the normal to the boundary between the two media.

These are some pics of when i went to the theatre do dark room experiments. i really enjoyed this because it was a good experiment as we learnt how to play with the camera and how to experiment lighting, and also what lighting can do and how beautiful it is .
